Modules > ISDN Products > TA+SOC

Stollmann’s serial ISDN adapters have been proving their worth for years and are available as external devices or as built-in modules. They are the products of choice for most projects thanks to their versatile configurations, the support they offer for all important protocols, and the fact that they can be easily adapted.

TA+SOC

Internal socket ISDN adapter for data communications

TA+SOC connects an asynchronous TTL serial data port to the ISDN BRI.

Features
  • Serial ISDN adapter
  • Socket industry standard
  • Plug-in contacts
Function

TA+SOC controls the ISDN connection using AT commands, just like a modem connection. In addition, TA+SOC provides other dialing options such as auto-connect, V.25bis, and CAPI. ISDN BRI corresponds to the S0 interface I.430 specifications.

TA+SOC provides a number of D channel protocols, such as DSS1. On the B channel, TA+SOC supports HDLC, X.31, and V.110 and can therefore be used in all typical based applications based on ISDN data transfer. TA+SOC also features an IOM-2 interface, which can be used for transparent B-channel access, for example, via codecs.

Customization, Customer-specific enhancements

At your request, Stollmann will be happy to customize the adapters to meet your specific requirements or to develop special versions for optimal integration into your hardware.
