Stollmann has been developing and marketing serial Bluetooth adapters and standard modules since 1999. As well as these modules, Stollmann also has a proprietary Bluetooth stack. This means that the technology is fully under control and extensive customer-specific adaptations can be made.

Solder-on Class 2 Bluetooth Module 

The BlueMod+B20/BT2.1 is an embedded Class 2 module with an integrated antenna and a range of approximately 60 m (open field). The low cost of the module makes it particularly well-suited for large volume production. BlueMod+B20/2.1 is a qualified Bluetooth 2.1+EDR product, meaning that you can use it without having to re-qualify your product. It is also CE and FCC certified.

The BlueMod+B20/2.1 has a serial UART interface for integration into your system. It features a configurable connection setup, which can be set to reduce connection setup time or to minimize power consumption.

Firmware Versions
  • Serial Port Profile (SPP). For wireless cable replacement applications. ~300 kbps sustained SPP net data rate.
  • Human Interface Device Profile (HID). For use in mouse and keyboard devices. Under development (Q4 2011).
  • Host Controller Interface (HCI). Standard HCI over UART or USB for use with Bluetooth Host Stacks, like BlueCode+
