Stollmann Entwicklungs- und Vertriebs-GmbH was founded in 1994 in Hamburg, Germany, with 12 employees developing protocol stacks and products for Bluetooth, ISDN, and NFC communication technologies. Now with 46 employees and an annual turnover of €12.9 m in 2010, Stollmann markets hardware products and licenses for software and reference designs to OEM and ODM customers around the world.
Since 1999 the "Shanghai Stollmann Communication Technology Co. Ltd." attend to the chinese market.
Stollmann is owned by three internal and one external shareholders. The managing directors Peter Herrmann and Christian Luehrs have experienced the ISDN market and development since 1986. More than 30 developers and testing engineers are responsible for a high quality standard with respect to projects, products and systems. Business models include:

- Licensing of standard products
- Development and production of customer-specific subassemblies
- Object code licensing
