Control/Monitoring of Inverters

For one customer in the solar energy industry, Stollmann developed a self-configuring multihop network based on Bluetooth. The development package included a special protocol that runs on standard Bluetooth modules. The network solution BlueCluster+ is characterized through an easy management and high data throughput. The access of the network will take place through a standard Bluetooth device, e.g. a notebook.

Data Communications in Automation

Stollmann Bluetooth solutions are used in automation primarily for data communications. Applications range from replacement of traditional wiring systems (for example, for transferring sensor data to displays or controlling large-scale displays) to implementation in bus systems, to applications in which traditional wiring has not previously been used, such as replacement of slip ring systems.

Calibration Interface for Service Technicians

Stollmann embedded Bluetooth modules are used to provide service technicians with an easy way to perform analysis, maintenance, and calibration work on machines. The Serial Port Profile (SPP) is used for this application.

Home Automation
